Friday, September 24, 2010

Following are quotables from “Real Time with Bill Maher” for Friday, September 24th, 2010. “Real Time with Bill Maher” airs Fridays at 10:00PM ET (10:00PM PT, tape delayed) on HBO, with additional replays throughout the week on HBO and HBO 2.

There’s nothing about what really, you know, is bothering people, especially on that side of the aisle, how to cut the deficit or decrease spending, it’s just about kicking out Mexicans, keeping Guantanamo open, getting rid of health insurance for sick kids, you know, feel-good stuff.

- Bill Maher, in his opening monologue, regarding the Republicans “Pledge to America”

It was a very good week for getting absolutely nothing done in Congress. They blocked, the Republicans did, the repeal of Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell. We thought this was going to be a done deal. I don’t know what their problem is with Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell. Even if it is repealed, there will still be a major American institution where gays are still forced to hide in shame and secrecy: The Republican party.

- Bill Maher, in his opening monologue

They’re giving up on their tax cuts for the middle class until after the election. … Have they seen the polls? Planning to do this after the election. This is like a condemned man asking for a doggie bag at the last meal.

- Bill Maher, in his opening monologue

Christine O’Donnell in Delaware … There are a lot of questions now about her use of campaign funds and not paying her taxes and not paying her mortgage. And on top of that, some asshole outed her as a witch.

- Bill Maher, in his opening monologue

Let me just say to the Wiccans, who are the witch people out there, cause they’re on my case: It wasn’t me, Wiccans, who conflated witches with Satanic stuff, that was Christine did that. I know that Satan worshippers and witches are not the same thing. So please, change my assistant back into a human. Would ya please? It’s funny for a while, but chickens can’t type.

- Bill Maher, in his opening monologue

The one thing that’s definitely true is there’s certainly a cover-up. I mean, I wouldn’t speak on whether they had some CIA operative waiting in a bush to shoot his ass … I think it’s criminal for sure.

- Richard Tillman, brother of killed soldier Pat Tillman, about his brother’s death

What’s the morality of passing legislation that is now keeping businesses from hiring new employees and not offering jobs that would even give the healthcare coverage.

- Amy Holmes, regarding healthcare reform

We don’t need those tax cuts … I personally don’t need those tax cuts.

- Seth MacFarlane, regarding repealing the Bush tax cuts for the rich

The American people didn’t have the ability to debate the issue … They didn’t debate it for a year. People said we will not talk about it with you. They shoved union members into the front of the town halls. They beat people up.

- Andrew Breitbart, regarding healthcare reform

When we invaded Iraq, we invited the UK to come fight with us. We invited France. We invited Germany. Every one of those armies had openly gay soldiers serving in the military. The only other country that didn’t, besides us, was the Iraqi army.

- Seth MacFarlane

Clip from “Politically Incorrect 10/15/98

Panel: Christine O’Donnell, Dee Snider, John Fugelsang, Eddie McClurg.

Christine O’Donnell: You know what evolution, evolution is a myth. Even

Darwin himself…

Maher: Evolution is a myth? Have you ever looked at a monkey?

O’Donnell: Then why aren’t they, why aren’t monkeys still evolving into

John Fugelsang: It takes a long time.

- Clip is available upon request

New Rule: Never let your children take an overnight trip with a holy man who wears more than two pieces of jewelry. Atlanta’s gay-bashing Bishop Eddie Long has been accused of buying cars for teenage boys, then inviting them to New Zealand and molesting them, in what authorities are calling “the worst Oprah surprise of all time.” Which leads me to: New Rule: If your minister says being gay is bad, or a sin, or an evil temptation, or has any opinion on it stronger than “who gives a shit,” your minister is gay.

- Bill Maher in his “New Rules” segment

New Rule: If they’re going to make a historical epic, full of British actors, in period costumes, about Queen Elizabeth helping her father get over his speech impediment, why bother having the Oscars at all? You win. Unless someone in America is making a movie where Meryl Streep teaches Anne Frank how to box, we give up.

- Bill Maher in his “New Rules” segment

This week's guests were Richard Tillman, Andrew Breitbart, Amy Holmes, Seth MacFarlane, and Ann Druyan.

Thank you for putting Christine Odonnell on the spot. She's such an embarrassment and I truly hope that the people in our state wake up and put her in her place...out of office!

s a lifelong Republican, I'm alarmed at the O'Donnell phenomenon. If O'Donnell wins, Republicans will abdicate their ability to criticize officeholders who illegally spend campaign funds. It will also establish Delaware as a place where out-of-state interests can buy elections here.
According to the most recent filing from the fec's website (, between January 1 - August 25, O'Donnell raised 86% of her campaign contributions from out-of-state. Since then she has raised over $2 million, again almost all from out-of-state. She has now topped $2.3 million since then, and is still raising money, with the large majority coming from out-of-state. Her website opens as a "Donate Now" page.
How do Delawareans feel about a candidate who shuns the national media's tough questions, citing the focus on "Delaware voters" but who is financed almost exclusively from non-Delaware voters? Should non-Delaware contributors be given this much influence over our election?
Second, given her misuse of campaign funds in the past and the potential for her to lose the Senate race with a sizable amount of unspent funds, how would she use those funds post-election?

Relevant law seems to be found at:
"Surplus funds may be contributed to a tax-exempt religious, charitable, educational, or scientific organization, volunteer fire department, or to a successful committee"
Is her real strategy to run out the clock, lose the race with millions in unspent contributions, and then establish a non-profit/foundation and pay herself a salary and expenses from that foundation?
Even though she moved here 5 yeas ago and has run for Senate 3 times without having any other meaningful employment, I don't object to her campaign from the Delaware native perspective. Moving to a state to seek political office is nothing new. But she has defined a new out boundary of that with the flood of out-of-state money aimed at a relatively inexpensive media market.
One month ago, she had minimal personal income, $20,000 campaign cash-on-hand and plenty of unpaid bills. She hasn't had a real job in more than 4 years. One month later, over $2.3 million in new campaign cash and more coming in every day. It is not unrealistic to imagine a scenario where where raises more than $5 million, and then is unable or unwilling to spend it all on this election.
She could lose the election, finish with $2-$3 million in unspent funds, and start an "O'Donnell Foundation" where she names herself a high-paid salary job. This would go down as one of the greatest political scams ever.

Bill...How could you have let the liar Breitbart get away with his revisionist history of the health Care townhalls. "Union Thugs"...geez. The so-called incident of a poor innocent townhall person opposing "ObamaCare" being "beat up" at a Russ Carnahan town hall was patently false! Teabaggers were the thugs at that event. SEIU was one of the sponsors at the event and when two stafers were allowed in when a lot of people were being kept out due to fire marshall issues, violence broke out. Afterwards, at the encouragement of Rush Limbaugh, SEIU headquarters was inundated with death threats. I know that this is a more complicated picture...easier to just accept the "Union Thugs beat up people at a Russ Carnahan raly...but hey...thats entertainment!
While I am at it...what is the deal with allowingg health Care reform to be described repeatedly as "ObamaCare"...again...Geez. Breitbart is a liar and a were, I am afraid, outclassed.

Hi Bill, I was not able to watch you last night because the channels that had your show on at 10:00 pm and 11:00 pm just showed a black screen. All of my other channels were ok-just you were blacked out. I called my cable company-and they did not know what to tell me-and they couldn't fix it over the phone. I was able to DVR it at 1:00 am. I look forward to watching it tonight. You are the best.

Why did you even bother to have Druyan on the show! Like many scientists, she doesn't shout. You allowed that big mouth scum Briethart to shout her down, interrupt and overtalk her. Of course he just proved her remark about the woeful state of science education. If I want to listen to people like Briethart, I can go to Rush Limbaugh.

Hi Bill , I am soooo upset with you and your show on Friday 24. you were truly outmatched last night. You let that racist thug Breithart on your show and did not even mention how he edited that video. You let the repubs promote their bullcrap without a pause or a interruption. I wanted to come through my T.V. and slap you into fighting back. You were WEAK.

Bill are you getting WEAKKKKKK as you age because your show last night should have been on FOX. The republicans took over your show. Come back Bill we need your show.

The show last night (sept 24) was hardly bearable. I kept wanting to throttle Amy Holmes. She is a horrible guest. She shouts over everyone and looks utterly bored when her mouth is not moving. She is outrageously disrespectful and irritating to watch. I dont want to change channels because of her.Don't bring her on your show anymore. She contributed nothing other than parroting the republican playbook.. chapter and verse. She has zero to contribute other than to downgrade your show. The combination of her and Breithart was just too much to bear I am so sick of being yelled at and watching people who yell over each other so that you cant make out what their saying ... well ... enough said. I hope I made my point. No more Amy Holmes PLEEEEEEAAASE

You know republicans' most effective debating tool is THE LIE. Why aren't progressives better prepared to call them on it?

On Climate Change you have PHDs on one side and GEDs on the other and they are allowed to lie there way to a stalemate. They will say anything to prevent the democrats from receiving credit for anything. They quote JUNK SCIENCE but when they need surgery, they prefer a Havard Doctor to Daisy (GRANNY) Moses, MD (Mountain Doctor).

If BOY GEORGE (that's George's BOY, George ... AKA GW Bush) was still in charge, he'd say if we don't do something about this, your grandchildren will be gulping for air like beached whales. The conversation would be over because the republicans would fall into LOCK-STEP and the dems would do what was best for the nation (and planet).

On Global Warming

We do not need lawyers, politicians, or cheerleaders on talk shows to set energy policy. We need an honest, qualified, logical analysis of what we think we know, how well we know it, and what that knowledge dictates. Bottom line - do we tax the generation of carbon dioxide and force a national energy dependence on the wind and sun? Should we promote nuclear power generation, a carbon free energy source, instead of killing it with national policies dictated by the whims of politicians?

Isn’t it strange that T. Boone Pickens (an energy mogul and national energy policy promoter) has backed of his proposal for a massive wind energy project in Texas? Could it be that the political hype and enthusiasm for this wind program was at cross indications with economic reality and the need for electric grid stability?

I have degrees from Purdue University in both electrical and nuclear engineering. Currently retired, I have behind me 35 years engineering experience in the design and operation of electric generation facilities. From that, I retain an interest in national energy policy. If things continue as they are, I think I’ll buy 40 acres, a windmill driven water pump, and a horse - if I can afford the horse breath tax.

I will also go to the polls November 2.

Hi Bill,

I watched you in Larry King Live talking about US Afghanistan and Iraq war. If I am not mistaken your last name Maher seems to be Jordanian or Labanese. Please pardon me if I was wrong. I agree with you that terrorism should not be fought in terms of war.

Afghanistan: It does mean if Bin Laden is based in Afghanistan as an Al-Queda it doesn't mean he is embrace by whole Talibans. Unfortunately US waged war against Talibans without thinking of the consequences. If you recall the downfall of Soviet Union in Afghanistan occupation is attributed to united efforts of US, Iran and Pakistan. US trained and provided Taliban with financial aid and weapons similar to what is given by Pakistan and Iran. First and foremost Talibans are proven tough fighters and excellent in guerilla warfare which US advance weaponry system has little effect, just like what happened in Iraq. Second, relation with Pakistan and Iran is in grass root and pressing Pakistan to take action against Taliban to take action against Talibans would not be easy, it will take sometime. This is the reason why US intelligence thinks Pakistan is supporting Talibans. Afghanistan by population are practically shites, an Iranian society. Iran is a muslim country but an arab.

Iraq: It was a huge mistake for US to put Shites in power and going against Sunnis since Saddam Hussein is Sunni. The entire Gulf States leaders are Sunnis including Saddam Hussein. Despite of Saddam aggressive stance against Kuwait, arab leaders forbid President Bush (father) from removing Saddam in power. Suddenly President Bush (son) disloged Saddam from power and placed Shites to power. I think introducing democracy in Iraq is a pretext in order to justify the war when presence of WMD cannot be proven to exist. Middle-east form of government has been in practice since the beginning time and transforming it into democracy is an insult to the arab world. Iraq new constitution gives women similar rights with men, an insult to the traditional arab culture. Now that shites become the leader in Iraq doesn't mean they can dominate Sunnis. I perceive chaos in Iraq after US troops withdrawal, possibly civil war. Arab world appears not showing disgust against US as ally in occupation of Iraq since become liberator of Kuwait but willing to pour millions of dollars to Sunnis in the country to maintain balance of power or perhaps maintain Sunnis government control.

Simple. Yet you and your panel were left blindsided by those two cretins.

Social Security benefits can easily be maintained by raising the cap on payroll contributions, yet the favored actions by Obama's Catfood Commission are raising the retirement age and cutting benefits.

Look, I am not one of your religous fanatics, I'm an agnostic, but this whole spill about evolution is getting out of hand. It is simply "redonkulous"! (yes, I know thats not a real word, so restrain yourself bill) Evolution is a theory-nothing more! It is a theory developed by Charles Darwin in the late 1800's. Yes, and has been theorized by numurous scientist. It is supported by the majority of scientist throughout the world. It has never been proven that we ascend from apes. If you believe that we do, then you also must believe the entire theory; All species of life developed from one micro-organism, then later, fish, (yes evolution states that humans were once fish), than to walking fish,in fact the list is so long on the evolutionary scale. Apes and monkeys are just two of our ancestors, so apes should be the least of our worries.
There are however, scientist who do not agree with the evolution theory in full. I agree there are certain species that have been adapted by nature to live in certain enviroments, and others, nature selects them to go extinct. It is argued that man has only been man for 10,000 years by some and much older by others. Physically we are a better form of ourselves than we were 2,000 years ago, being much larger than we were than. However, new evidence suggest we are merly a small version of what we once were. Several archeological studies are finding human remains that are 2 to 3 times the size of todays average human. The question that doesn't get asked is this; why don't we hear or read about this findings in the news? Answer; because it totally contridicts what evolution supporters have been trying to prove for over 100 years.

Bill, you want people to stop being stupid with religion, than you have to be smarter on your show. Evolution is obviously something you believe in. I do believe it up to a point. I don't believe we were once a micro-organism, a fish, an amphibian, and then after several diferent species, we evolved to a monkies. I don't believe that, and there's no science that proves it, it is a theory and nothing more. Species change evolution has not been proven. None of it has. In a sense it's kinda like religions, or god even. You can't prove there is any reason to believe any of it, but it has a large number of supporters.
If a scientist said that we are a hybrid of an alien species. That these aliens mated with our ape-like ancestors and we are the product of that, than he got enough supporters to support his theory, and that explains the missing link, would you believe it?
Oh, wait, we already had a scientist make this claim-can you tell me who? He was also one of the front runners and largest supporters of evolution for the past 35 years. He has scientist supporting his claims! Sounds crazy, but science is crazy sometimes. Now, if you'll excuse me I need to go throw my pooh at the mailman!

I have to say, your last show was very out of wack. I couldn't make out the debated topics, because everyone was talking over each other and the main points got lost in shouting matches. Also, you've got to stop confusing facts with theories.
There is the global warming issue, probably exist and there is definete proof of man-made contributions to this. However, science and history also shows the earth goes through climate change every few thousand years, and yes their is evidence to support this theory. It's possible that we have made this process more rapid? Evolution? I don't know Bill, it definetly exist in some forms (natural selection)but no proof has been given to suggest that species evolve to other species.
Best keep the debates to your strong points, religion and politics.

Bill, I am a big fan, watching your shows enthusiastically. You are on the permanent record list on the DVR.

Here's the but. I CAN'T take any more of the lies.
Amy Holmes and Andrew Breitbart? Okay, she's hot which is a good visual, but I can't listen to the bullshit that comes out of their mouths any more. The conservative liars machine needs to be ignored, not promoted.

Was Breitbart booked before or after the Sherrod insanity that he instigated?

No dialog is possible with people who systematically LIE to promote their arguments. I have watched enough to see that when confronted with incontrovertible facts, they say okay and then continue to expound their false positions. I have some to the opinion that we should not listen or promote them in any way.

I am DONE listening to liars. It makes me nuts.

In respect to your discussion on Friday with Seth MacFarlane, Andrew Breitbar and Amy Holmes, I don't understand the issue with debating global warming... It has no end result... Is this phenomena not a cyclical aspect of our planet? We've dealt with the ice ages and the times when dinosaurs roamed the globe in tropical paradises. The world gets warm, then cold, then warmer then really cold and then it repeats itself over and over again.... What is the fckng point in discussing whether it exists or not or if we can solve it. Better to adapt to the changes and survive the evolution of our planet instead of debating the adolescent "I'm right and you're wrong" dick measuring contest. Lets all be realistic and logical here... Weather global warming is happening or not (just being diplomatic)-our global environment is changing... we may be accelerating the changes, but nevertheless.. it would have happened anyway.... Lets move on and attack issues that we can actually solve with tangible results... Awesome show by the way...

When Amy Holmes said something to the affect that removing the tax cut will only add 9 days of debt relief. Well, it's 9 days more than we have now.

It's like a hoarders house. If you remove 9 bags of stuff, it's a start. Then as you continue to remove bags and stop adding adding stuff, you may actually clean out the house someday.

You just have to start somewhere.

A billion days ago no-one walked on the earth on two feet.

A billion dollars ago was only 8 hours and 20 minutes, At the rate our government Is spending it.

While this thought is still fresh in our brain, let's take a look at New Orleans. It's amazing what you can learn with some simple division.

Louisiana Senator Mary Landrieu (D)
Is presently asking Congress for
To rebuild New Orleans . What does this mean?
If you are one of the 484,674 residents of New Orleans (every man, woman, and child) you each get $516,528 each.

Or if you have one of the 188,251 homes in New Orleans, your home gets $1,329,787.

Or. If you are a family of four, Your family gets $2,066,012.

Recall that we split from, the British Empire to stop paying taxes that did not benefit us. You think anyone in New Orleans is going to get $500K?

Not one of these taxes existed 100 years ago and our nation was the most prosperous in the world.
We had absolutely no national debt...
We had the largest middle class in the world...
And Mom stayed home to raise the kids.

What happened? Political power is the most corrosive agent known to man.

Here's some suggestions:

When they complain about the cost of the healthcare bill, ask them about the cost of a wasted useless war like the Iraqui War...
I dont see any Tea baggers complaining about the cost of the war...

When they claim that Global Warming is not real, ask them why 99% of the countries in the world already signed the Kyoto Protocol...
If it is so bad then, countries as distinct as Brazil, or Korea or France would not have signed, correct?
Or show them the map in the Wikipedia

And at last, when they talk about sealing the border so drugs cant come in, ask them why drugs still infiltrate maximum security prisons???

Your comments on conservatives NOT being angry over Bush's profligate spending & the debt... is simply wrong. Here's just a few conservative radio hosts that reflected the majority of conservative voters... many who have left the Rep Party & joined the (more fiscally honest) Tea Party. (it's not really a party... it's a broad-based movement)

El Rushbo was critical & one of the first that used the term "spending like drunken sailors" and "expanding government entitlements." Michael Savage crucified Bush for it very early on. Laura Ingraham took him to task. And Jerry Doyle mailed back donation letters with fishing hooks & dirty old lures, quitting the party (he had run for congress after he left Hollywood).

You really should take the time to actually ASK some conservatives before you ASSuME such nonsense. LOL. Cya.

About punkass GOP pledge. Didn't these cowboys already pledge an oath to serve the greater good & look out for the best interests of the nation & their constituents? After all, making sure (Texas) gets the lion's share of the misappropriations is second to making sure the nation doesn't fall apart like dominos or collapse due to overt & covert enemy action, right? With reps like these... far too little, way too late.

We all know global warming is caused by Boehner's incontinent friends & their flatulant factories. Have Condi tutor this man, he's embarrassing. I'm not paying for any of it.

I'm not finished. There is no 'China' or 'India' or even 'Russia', its all multinational corporations pulling all the strings everywhere. These are just regions of their operations, that they pit against each other. Meanwhile fucking Kissinger, Brzezinski, Rockerfeller et al. are planning to 'cull the herd' = genocide, because they can't think outside the box.

These conservatives got to the top of the first hump on the rollercoaster and now they are chickening out. Well guess what, guys? Too late! You never did run things and you can't stop now! Like it or not, we are all going forward, all the way alive! Hope your hearts all stop, chicken men!

OK now I'm done.

I am told Michelle Bachman is bitching about President Bo's dog rising in a separate plane than Bo.

My the world is changing fast. I was sure the 1st president Bo would be a cracker from the south.

Well, at least the dog is creating jobs.

In other news the middle class is under attack globally, regardless of religion. The struggle is lining up along class lines, not party, religion or race. The upper class are doing their best to present it otherwise. Here for example is the bio of Eric Prince, founder of Blackwater.

Don't read that if you just ate. Speaking of eating, Barry claims to have eaten pork products - hot dogs - so he's not a Muslim. I don't care if he is or not, I'm judging him on his actions, not his baggage or genetic mix, but lets look at this claim.

Hebrew National *Kosher* "low fat pork" hot dogs on the shelf in my local supermarkets have an ingredients label required by law, due to some of my ancestor's values that 'we' might not share today. They report that their hotdogs contain 1 gram protein and 13 grams of fat per ounce. There are 28 grams in an ounce, so these pink tube thingys are mostly composed of shit.

And thats kosher, man. So, where's the pork? Washington. The new Bill of Rights is similarly composed.

The reason there are no atheists in foxholes, my cliche spouting ignoramuses, is because it takes a shovel to dig a foxhole & since we have a shovel, well, thats also what it takes to dig a tunnel. You'll figure it out... not ever!

I think this has been the century of Mussolini. World wars tried 2x to impose it fast, then they went the slow creepy route. Now we accept politicians like Meg who says the government should be run like a business. I believe that business has too much power and governments, the representatives of the people and the stewards of our resources, the feminine in the yin-yang gestalt, have become too weak.

Anyone would be crazy to vote for Jerry Brown. He's a failure in every aspect of his political career.

I'd like Woz for Governor & Jobs for Lt. Governor. They would rock. They could win for sure, they are the home team & have more, better branding than Schwartzenegger.

If they don't want it, write them in anyway. We need them & its their civic duty & all that crap.

Can we say that republicans are fascist because they want to decide for us: 1.Who we will fall in love 2. Which religion we will fallow 3. What we will build in our private property, etc...

Is it possible for the democrats to change their campaign a little and pin point the DISRESPECT of the republicans towards our Constitutional Rights...

2 ridiculously easy steps to fixing America overnight (Part 1 – The Problem)
O’reilly, (excuse my spelling, too lazy to spellcheck) Bachman, Palin, gingrich, Bush, Chenney, the angry pill popper on the radio - what's his name, Beck... and so on, have always been insane, deluded, emotionally shut down…. hissy fit throwing kids, who substitute, nigjtly childhood, panicked screams for mommy’s love and safety, with rage and manipulation of, and for, everything that symbolizes mommy’s apathy in their time of need… actually their mommy’s mouths were full at the time with their third daddy’s genitals, but I digress…
Point is, the terror filled cries for help, they call television shows, were always checked by the actual press and the occasional comic. This helped to curtail the spread of their airborn fear desease from infecting ALL of the Christian sheep. They use abortion and Leviticus 18:22 to frighten the toothless into robbing themselves of jobs, social programs, health care etc. Who cares about all that… when there’s such sweet relief in being part of a human tumor that hates and fears all the same stuff! Woo Hoo! Friends!
By the way, off topic, I have secret information that before using Leviticuss 18:22, to jar all of the closeted Christian Penis lovers into running for the votting booth, Chenney actually tried using Leviticus 15:19, to drum up the god-fear-vote, out of some kind of tingly sensation in his chest for his gay daughter, which he first thought was a heart attack, but after consulting 3 doctors he decided to take their word for it… that what he was “feeling” was llloooovvv… he couln’t say it. Any way, Chenney tried using Leviticus 15:19 to scare the Marlboro 100’s smokers into the voting booth– “When a woman has her regular flow of blood, the impurity of her monthly period will last seven days, and anyone who touches her will be unclean till evening" But, turns out, it's easier to spot a gay person then it is an “unclean” bleeding liberal woman... + they'd have to give out menstral patches for their own woman to wear, then there’d be seperate menstral train cars, but that all pales in comparison to the insurmountable fact that the toothless love to “Jelly Doughnut” their cousins… so, it was going to have to be 18:22.
Got off on a tangent, soorrry. So much good stuff out there though. Hard to consentrate.
Okay. Their fairy tale took new form and a much newer delivery. I believe they have discovered the Alchamedies formula of turning propoganda into truth. Unanimously and simultaneously Fox and fiends went on the air to talk about O’bamas trip to India. They were appaulled at the 200 million dollar price tag and the 10% of the navy to shaporone… on your show that fabioulously gay Rebulican senetor (who admitted watching gay porn on the internet in a round about way! I love it! And when the audience caught him… he pretended he meant to make a joke… priceless) quickly jumped and said that they got the story from an Indian Blogger, when you began to mentioned it. This story became fact. The white house spokes guy, who looks like a guy getting a lap dance for the first time, nourvouse, but very ecxited!.. he refuted the story… It did not work…
The time has come. What ever Fox makes up, the toothless hear as gospel!
Here's the problem... I grew up in Russia durring communism... you add an economic depression, with fear, ignorance, AND the lack of free speech... and what you get is THE COLLAPSE OF A COUNTRY... read your history books, Russia, Germany, Italy.... and so on...

Barry Shurchin said...

(Part 2) SOLUTION - pass two laws that would fix our entire country over night.
1) Anyone who works in the media, or the government, in any copacity, on any level, who is caught lying... proved in print or on record, etc... will be charged with a felony... perjoury, like in court... mandatory prison sentence... if the religouse wrong give you grief... give them this... Leviticus 19 16 "Do not go about spreading slander among your people." You put one pill popping, frightened little Limbaugh and his delectable milky white breasts, in prison.... next day... no more lies…. from ehhhhhhhnnnyyyyy one.
2) This was a democracy... we elected representetives because there were to many of us to fit in one room to make laws... It's no longer a democracy... politicians can only run if they have enough cash to do so... and where does that cash come from?.. when the’re in office all they do is worry about the’re realection... speaking of milky white breasts... Mitch Mcconell, who has almost completed his sex relocation journey, said over and over that she will not do her job for the next two years... lobbiest have destroyed our government.. they are our government.. the corporations run our government... here's the solution to get back to democracy.. pass a law to make legal bribary - lobbying, illegal... if the toothless mullet wearers start beefin', hit em with this- Exodus 23 8 "And you shall take no bribe, for a bribe blinds the clear-sighted and subverts the cause of those who are in the right."
Make it happen Bill.

P.S. I took a leak next to you at Limelight in the early nineties… man, were you rude… but I guess if I was taking leak and some star struck kid asked me if I wrote my own stuff I’d ignore him too. I never looked down man! I swear!

your election episode starting w Bill Riley was the best show ever. American politics had lost all appeal to me after this election, I had essentially given up hope for Americans and couldn't see any point to caring about people who choose to shoot themselves in the foot by voting for representatives of a very greedy minority. This election demonstrates that Americans lack critical thinking skills and its almost tragic that the only people with this skill on television can be so easily dismissed because their format is comedy.. thank God someone is still making sense

You are constantly asking the question, "Why do muslims/non-Americans hate us?". Yet when Pres. Jimmy Carter said to you that our duty as Americans is to spread the ideas of freedom & democracy whether the other society wants it or not, you offered no critism. Carter also made some statements about his religious beliefs with respect to his political agenda and you were again silent.(In addition, Carter launched a failed military operation to free our hostages from Tehran - to say that no shots were fired by the military during his time in office was also a misrepresentation. If the operation wasn't screwed up, you can bet shots would have been fired. Conducting an operation like that on foreign soil is an act of war, whether justified or not.)
Contrast that with your interview with Huckabee where you asked him if his position against Obamacare was in contradiction with his Christian beliefs.
Be wary of the double standard, Bill.

Bill, I would love to see you interview Naomi Klein (The Shock Doctrine) and discuss "Disaster Capitalism" and the continued agenda of the Chicago School (Milton Friedman) of Economics advancement under both Democrats and Republicans. It seems to me that her book (and documentary of the same name) explains better than anything else why the world is going the way it is (globalization, corporatism, privitization, transfer of wealth away from the middle class and poor, etc.), and I am amazed that you have not discussed economic theory coupled with the CIA's MK-Ultra-type of mind control (used both on individuals as seen at Abu Ghraib and Guantanomo recently and on whole countries undergoing natural or man-made [as in "Shock and Awe"] disasters. Osama bin Laden was a made-to-order villan for fulfilling the Friedman agenda and I do not undertand why you never discuss this.
