QUOTES FROM “REAL TIME WITH BILL MAHER

Following are quotables from “Real Time with Bill Maher” for Friday, November 5, 2010. “Real Time with Bill Maher” airs Fridays at 10:00PM ET (10:00PM PT, tape delayed) on HBO, with additional replays throughout the week on HBO and HBO 2.

A special shout out to the Independent geniuses who switched sides again because President ‘Chocolate Jesus’ did not make it rain $20’s in two years. You know, Branson wasn’t built in a day folks.
- Bill Maher in his opening monologue

If you can vote for Bush one year, then the next election for Obama and then go back to John Boehner; you’re not Independent, you’re schizophrenic.
- Bill Maher in his opening monologue regarding the midterm election

I haven’t seen Republicans so happy about taking seats since they made Rosa Parks stand up.
- Bill Maher in his opening monologue regarding the midterm election

Mr. Boehner, you’ve got to stop crying. For one, your tan is going to run. And also, what’s he going to do if he loses next time, put on a Bjork record and cut himself?
- Bill Maher in his opening monologue regarding John Boehner’s acceptance speech

Note to George Bush, when Kanye West messed with Taylor Swift, she got over it. And she was twelve.
- Bill Maher in his opening monologue regarding Bush’s self proclaimed ‘lowest point of his presidency’

Leave it to a witch to defend a ghost.
- Dana Gould regarding Christine O’Donnell’s concession speech in which she brought up estate taxes

This election was lost when Obama didn’t back the public option. That was the one key thing that said to the people ‘You know what, this is no different then the Al Gore Democrats.’ You know the ole’ Al Gore playbook – ‘Let’s run from our achievements and let’s not stand up for what we believe in.’
- Bill Maher regarding the midterm election

New Rule: Unless it's a freak, I don't need to see a sonogram of your baby. You know how all babies look alike? Well, not one zillionth as much as all pre-babies look alike. Oh, it's so beautiful. No, it looks like a photocopy of a Polaroid of a black-and-white TV image of the skeleton of Charlie Brown, at the bottom of a well. But he has his mother's eye sockets.

New Rule: Stop putting “Bro” in front of everything. Bromance, brodown, Brodak moment. Way to make shoe shopping with my friend Steve sound gay. Oh, and one way to tell your “bromance” has grown into a full-on gay relationship: when you're giving each other “bro-jobs.”

This week's guests were Bill O’Reilly, Rep. Darrell Issa, Fareed Zakaria, Dana Gould and Mayor Adrian Fenty.

It really pisses me off to listen to Bill O'Reilly complain about taking wealthy people's money (including his) and redistributing it to other people for their health care or food or whatever.

Here's a message for you, Bill O'Reilly: FOR DECADES I'VE HAD THOUSANDS OF MY DOLLARS TAKEN FROM ME TO EDUCATE OTHER PEOPLE'S KIDS - INCLUDING YOURS! I HAVE NO KIDS TO EDUCATE, JUST YOURS. HOW'S THAT ANY DIFFERENT?

Wow. You guys really missed the boat on why Adrian Fenty lost his bid for re-election. I am a long time dc resident and the schools were only a minor part of the problems dc residents had with this mayor. It is an insult to us that the national media portrays his loss in this way. Adrian Fenty ran a closed government. He refused to respond to dc residents, would not answer questions and provide information. This has been a huge issue for most of his four years in office. If you lived in this city and were impacted by this it was huge and entirely unacceptable regardless of his accomplishments. And, he did have accomplishments. There were also issues regarding city contracts he gave to his friends, his treatment of people, and his attorney general/refusal of FOIA requests etc. No amount of accomplishments make it ok to "rule" like a despot in an eastern block country in times past. Finally, my friend lost her only child in a horrific drive-by mass shooting on March 30th of this year. Decisions made by the Fenty administration that contributed to this situation have been questioned and swept under the rug. All the information we have uncovered is because of work and research we have done ourselves. What we found - primarily from DC government documents is beyond troubling. Our questions continue to be unanswered. So, yes, for many, many people in this city this election was deadly serious and about so much more than the changes Fenty and his school chancellor made in the schools.

Issa was amazing: he got burned on every argument he made and had no ability to overcome the objections of Bill or the panel...incredible. When will the many morons of the United States realize that the Republicans (at this point in history) are only out to protect and promote the wealthy?

Issa claims to be in touch but he's following the party line and won't deviate unless painted into a corner. Try this on for size: if someone offers another view point which is then, via dialogue, proven to be better than your own, admit you were wrong and accept their view point. What a novel idea, huh?

bill: please when you are talking with these repuglets about the economy and capitalism vs socialism: make the point that by design capitalism works from the bottom up. little people at the bottom take their money and purchase goods and services from businesses that meet their needs. the businesses that become successful do so based on MERIT. their goods and services are better than the competition and they become successful and accumulate wealth based on that. money percolates from the bottom to the top based on quality and merit decided by the consumer. businesses are designed to accumulate and keep money and profits so they can grow and get more and more wealthy.
so the idea that you can feed money directly to the top and allow it to trickle down to the hungry bottom layer is fundamentally flawed from the start. put money into the system from the bottom for once and make business earn it. if you put it in to the top layer it will stay there and be hoarded.
please please yell that to bill oreilly next time. his objection to all things for the common good as socialism doesn't seem to work if you apply it to public schools, police, fire stations and congressmen and senators themselves.

Bill, I was your fan for decades, I think your live appearances are even cooler. What did you guys do to the country that we have to vote for Republicans just to be against.
It's sad that the one who "didn't get it" is you.

Bill, why not have them the print salient comments you made at the end of the show instead of your jokes on your web site. More people would watch you if they knew how logical and realistic your thinking is about the issues and the problems this country has. Your decisive summary of the misinformation, erroneous labeling, and false positioning did more to present a balanced position than any I have heard on the airwaves. Loved your comments throughout. Thank you for saying what we are all thinking. Adele

It's also sad when people get an information on issues from a comedy show host afterward instead of doing their homework themselves.
"John Boehner was born in Reading, Ohio, the son of Mary Anne (née Hall) and Earl Henry Boehner, the second of twelve children.[2] He grew up in modest circumstances, having shared one bathroom with his dozen siblings in a two-bedroom house in Cincinnati. His parents slept on a pull-out couch.[3] He started working at his family's bar at age 8.[3] He has lived in Southwest Ohio his entire life. He earned his bachelor's degree in business from Xavier University in Cincinnati in 1977, becoming the first person in his family to attend college.[3] He subsequently accepted a position with Nucite Sales, a small sales business in the packaging and plastics industry, where he eventually became president of the firm."
Laughing at people getting emotional about living American dream is so low, and out of touch.

Hey Bill: You've been bullshitting again. You said only Republicans are violent. Here is just one of hundreds of examples of Democrats that are acually the violent bunch. This should be your next HBO show, The Violent Bunch". You can get the video of Michelle Obama smashing a Big Mac in her daughters face. The Messiah kicking Boo in the face. Heres a good one.

Remember when you were being heckled, and you shot right up into your audience like a wild boar? Its OK. All Democratic Obama ball licks act that way, its natural.

In closing: You need to shave Obamas cock from your lower lip, your embarrassing yourself.

"Inglorious Democrats" with their retinue Jon Stewart, Michael Moore, Arianna Huffington, you, Bill Maher and Co. should get together now to mourn the death of "political correctness". Well done, Americans!

Anonymous said...

Bill Maher like all us democrats and liberals explains rather than attacks. When O'Reilly says things like social security is not in the constitution, us leftists go into a riff about how we don't understand how anyone can say that etc. Instead we should turn the rhetoric against the O'Reillys: "Corporation" is not in the constitution, capitalism is not, Christianity is not ..." This does 2 things: jabs back with a quick phrase not a sentence of explanation or wonderment at their ignorance & raises the doubt in the minds of those fetched by jabs, because it's indisputable that "right, corporation isn't in the constitution so OReillly is a bullshitter, as we would say in New Jersey. "Always be attacking" like the character in Glengarry GlenRoss might say.

Between liberals and conservatives are we, the majority, who don't believe in "robing Peter to pay Paul", in government and union workers having life-long benefits for their "hard" work, in the US becoming a welfare state, also we are not with the conservatives not believing in science, some human rights and reforms. And "liberals explain rather than attack" is it a joke? Aren't 80% of Americans - teachers, doctors, workers, business owners called 'bigots' and
'racists' during Obama administration, weren't journalists fired for telling the truth? Health reform on 2600 pages which no one have read? Give us a break. Although the rich people can survive some tax increase this is not the solution for others to become rich.

We have to create culture, don't watch TV, don't read magazines, don't even listen to NPR. Create your own roadshow. The nexus of space and time where you are now is the most immediate sector of your universe, and if you're worrying about Bill Maher or Barack Obama or somebody else, then you are disempowered, you're giving it all away to icons, icons which are maintained by an electronic media so that you want to dress like X or have lips like Y. This is shit-brained, this kind of thinking. That is all cultural diversion, and what is real is you and your friends and your associations, your highs, your orgasms, your hopes, your plans, your fears. And we are told 'no', we're unimportant, we're peripheral. 'Get a degree, get a job, get a this, get a that.' And then you're a player, you don't want to even play in that game. You want to reclaim your mind and get it out of the hands of the cultural engineers who want to turn you into a half-baked moron consuming all this trash that's being manufactured out of the bones of a dying world.

Bill. On the October 29th program, you said that the most popular name in the UK for babies was Mohamed. Margaret Hooper (Hopper) swiftly followed up that "Sharia law was equivalent to UK law".

Neither of these things are true.

The most popular name is Oliver. Mohammed appears high on the list because they ignored variants (Jim, Jimmy and James count as three separate names, as does Bob, Rob, Bobby, Robbie or Robert).

Second, the number of Sharia laws that are recognised in the UK is this: Zero. None. Nada. Zip.

Both lies have been promoted by the Daily Mail which fancies itself as a sort of Fox News, but without the intelligence and more pictures of semi-naked actresses. If your researchers are using the Mail to keep up with news from the UK, then they are looking at the wrong comic book.

Aside from that, keep up the good work, and you have a small but growing following here in the UK.

The real problem with wealth redistribution isn't welfare but pensions. But will the brave and "tell it like it is" Bill O'Reilly take on the cops, fireman and other public servants? Unlikely. Someone that is a cop for 20 years gets a pension for the rest of his or her life? And their pay is the average of the last three years they worked? This is where the real wealth redistribution is and it is a political hotbed because these organization are powerful and can sway elections. And the problem will only get worse as life expectancy continues to increase.

Bill, I used to be a fan, but when you have Adrian Fenty on your show and say that he didn't ger re-elected after doing a good job and your comments are only BASED on what you have read that someone else wrote...SHAME ON YOU! Fenty has torn this city apart. He not only fired teachers WITHOUT CAUSE but he didn't even know why they were being fired. Children protested and were arrested, some of the teachers have died from stress after being fired for years of service! Fenty has stolen millions of dollars of OUR DCTAX PAYERS money and REFUSES to be questioned or answer anything about it. He has given his frat brothers contracts that you or I would not have even been able to bid on. He ignored a request to meet with Dorothy Height & Maya Angelo as they wanted to defend another black woman Fenty disrespected. He has disrespected the residents of DC for 4 years so we said NO MORE! nEXT TIME GET YOUR STORY RIGGHT....and by the way Rhee only tried to fix the schools in ward 3 a rich ward by the way...but did nothing for the kids or parents of wards 7 & 8 so THIS is why you saw those in rich neighborhoods wanting to keep him in..in order to keep Rhee but if the children were first as Rhee used to state...Mickey Mouse could be mayor and she would have still wanted to be there...

Bill Maher, you were absolutely right when you said that this country does not have a mature population aged 18-21 but I would also add from 18-26. The reason is simple, children in our schools are being made embarrassed because they do their homework and get high scores on the tests, while those who are on the other side are being glorified. Most of my generation in the United States has not left the premises of the United States to see what is really going on around the world; which is half of the crisis the other half, is that most of my generation does not read national news and I am not going to even mention the world news. Our generation is the generation of, I wanted now and I do not want to put any effort for it! It truly scares me to see my generation to take control of this nation one day because we are not patient and responsible generation. At the same time my generation in different countries is gearing up for the competition of the 21st century. Therefore, unless we do not change our attitude as a nation we will have a difficult and bumpy road ahead of us.

Bill... you have broken the heart of this pot smoking, gay rights supporting, war loathing, environment protecting, monty python loving liberal European who has ben your devoted fan since your naive Libertarian days. You joke and complain about Obama and the Democrats being spineless, unable to play hardball when the (literally) evil Republicans do, how Obama displays too much respect towards people who show him none, etc. And now I had to witness you expressing your "respect" towards Colbert and Stewart after their massively unintelligent, ignorant, and dishonest rally. Why did you give them such a soft, gentle critique? How much damage did those two lightweights do in the days leading up to the election? The damage they did to your already massively insane nation is incalculable, and it is now obvious to me that your principles are dispensable when "buddies" of yours are involved. So you are corrupt too. I am so disappointed in and disgusted by you, Bill. You are clearly corrupt. Thanks Attorney General Brown. Am I being an asshole ? I don't think so. In North Carolina crystal meth is considered a weapon of mass destruction under the state's Nuclear, Biological, and Chemical Weapons Act. Under the law, a meth conviction results in a sentence ranging from 12 years to life in prison on each count. So apparently there was some thing the attorney general could have done about this. Just like enforcing the current immigration laws.

Hey Bill,

I thought it was kinda humorous how this past week's show almost humanized Bill O'Reilly - until I read Dana Milbank's latest column, where I learned O'Reilly is practically asking his goon fan base to behead Dana Milbank. O'Reilly is unbelievably THIN skinned for such a "tough guy". O'Reilly is toxic - and a baby:

Bill O'Reilly's threats

By Dana Milbank
Wednesday, November 10, 2010;

Bill O'Reilly wants my head - literally.

On Thursday night, the Fox News host asked, as part of a show that would be seen by 5.5 million people: "Does sharia law say we can behead Dana Milbank?" He then added, "That was a joke."

Hilarious! Decapitation jokes just slay me, and this one had all the more hilarity because the topic of journalist beheadings brings to mind my late friend and colleague Danny Pearl, who replaced me in the Wall Street Journal's London bureau and later was murdered in Pakistan by people who thought sharia justified it.

The next night, O'Reilly read a complaint from one of his viewers, Heidi Haverlock of Cleveland, who said: "I thought the joke about whether sharia law would allow the beheading of the Washington Post guy was completely inappropriate." O'Reilly replied to her on air: "Well, let me break this to you gently, Heidi. If Dana Milbank did in Iran what he does in Washington, he'd be hummus."

O'Reilly is partly right about that. As an American and a Jew, I probably wouldn't last long in Iran. And criticizing the government there, as I do here, wouldn't add to my life expectancy. But what was he trying to say? That America would be better if it were more like Iran?

O'Reilly's on-air fantasizing about violent ends for me was precipitated by a column I wrote describing Fox News's election-night coverage as a victory party for the Republicans. This didn't strike me as a terribly controversial point, but it evidently offended O'Reilly. "He said there were no Democrats except for Schoen on," O'Reilly complained. "It was an outright lie."

That would have been an outright lie, except that I said no such thing. I wrote: "To be fair and balanced, Fox brought in a nominal Democrat, pollster Doug Schoen. 'This is a complete repudiation of the Democratic Party,' he proclaimed."

Though I didn't claim Schoen was the sole Democrat, in hindsight I should have quoted other putative liberals who appeared on Fox that night - and sounded much like Schoen. There was Bob Beckel, proclaiming: "I feel like the blind guy whose guide dog died" and "I give all the credit to Republicans on this." Or Juan Williams on President Obama: "I just don't think he gets it."

I suspect O'Reilly's fury - he went after me on three consecutive nights last week - has less to do with one sentence in one column than with a book and a series of columns I've written about O'Reilly's colleague Glenn Beck. I've argued that Beck, with his talk of violence, Nazis and conspiracy theories, is all but inviting fringe characters to take up arms. I've held O'Reilly up as a responsible alternative to Beck - but O'Reilly seems determined to prove this wrong.

On Thursday night, he made an eerie reference to The Post's editorial page editor. "Would you put Fred Hiatt's picture up on the screen here?" he asked. "This is the editor, Milbank's editor, Fred Hiatt. And, Fred won't do anything about Milbank lying in his column. I just want everybody in America to know what The Washington Post has come to. All right, you can take Fred's picture off. Fred, have a nice weekend, buddy."

Wednesday, November 10, 2010;

Bill,

As you say white people are so stupid, and more than half the kids living in poverty in America are white, and seeing how this hopeless, desperate white minority is not represented as a special interest group, but is discriminated against for financial assistance to attend any school, not only by the school system but also by the current president as mandated in one of his recent unconstitutional 'executive orders', surely you will step up and provide charity for your own people? I mean, how better to save the turkeys from the dreaded Ozark Turkey Fucker? You like animals, don't you? Do it for the turkeys...

As for Dana Milbank who claimed he was a friend of Danny Pearl, wouldn't it be nice if it was him writing something defending freedom of speech when Juan Williams was fired, and not me doing it for him:
"An American journalist...was fired for speaking the truth, because CAIR (The Council on American -IslamicRelations) filed a complain? With "political correctness" and "don't touch me" attitude American journalists soon will be "beheaded" like Daniel Pearl.

Bill Maher,

An interesting person to talk to is Dr. John M. Richardson. His wiki resume includes work in global modeling & systems theory for the Club of Rome, a lot of field work and authoring the following professional works:
Partners in Development (1969)
Groping in the Dark: The First Decade of Global
Modeling (1982)
Making it Happen: A Positive Guide to the Future
Ending Hunger: An Idea Whose Time has Come
Breakthrough: New Global Thinking (1988)
Democratization in South Asia: The First Fifty Years
History and Politics - Millenial Perspectives: Essays in Honor of Kingsley de Silva
Paradise Poisoned: Learning About Conflict, Development and Terrorism from Sri Lanka’s Civil Wars (2005)

Apparently he has been a busy practicing globalist. He could cast some light on what professor Obama is attempting to accomplish. His expertise in political conflict resolution should yield accurate insight into current events and what we can expect in the near future. His blog is here.

I ride Harley Davidson Motorcycles, and drive American-made cars, and I believe in American products and buy them whenever I can.

I believe the money I make belongs to me and not some liberal governmental functionary, Democratic or Republican, that wants to share it with others who don't work!

I'm in touch with my feelings and I like it that way!

I think owning a gun doesn't make you a killer; it makes you a smart American.

I think being a minority does not make you noble or victimized, and does not entitle you to anything. Get over it!

I believe that if you are selling me a Big Mac or any other item, you should do it in English. I believe there should be no other language option.
My heroes are Bill Gates, John Wayne, Babe Ruth, Roy Rogers, and Willie G. Davidson, who makes the awesome Harley Davidson Motorcycles.

I believe 'illegal' is illegal no matter what the lawyers think.

I believe the American flag should be the only one allowed in AMERICA !
If this makes me a BAD American, then yes, I'm a BAD American.

"In the first place, we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here in good faith becomes an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin.
But this is predicated upon the person's becoming in every facet an American, and nothing but an American...There can be no divided
allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something
else also, isn't an American at all. If he tries to keep segregated with men of his own origin and separated from the rest of America, then he isn't doing his part as an American. We have room for but one flag, the American flag... We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language... and we have room for but one sole loyalty
and that is a loyalty to the American people."

Theodore Roosevelt 1907

Anonymous said...

There is no room in this country for hyphenated Americanism. When I refer to hyphenated Americans, I do not refer to naturalized Americans. Some of the very best Americans I have ever known were naturalized Americans, Americans born abroad. But a hyphenated American is not an American at all. This is just as true of the man who puts “native” before the hyphen as of the man who puts German or Irish or English or French before the hyphen. Americanism is a matter of the spirit and of the soul. Our allegiance must be purely to the United States. We must unsparingly condemn any man who holds any other allegiance. But if he is heartily and singly loyal to this Republic, then no matter where he was born, he is just as good an American as any one else. The one absolutely certain way of bringing this nation to ruin, of preventing all possibility of its continuing to be a nation at all, would be to permit it to become a tangle of squabbling nationalities, an intricate knot of German-Americans, Irish-Americans, English-Americans, French-Americans, Scandinavian-Americans, or Italian-Americans, each preserving its separate nationality, each at heart feeling more sympathy with Europeans of that nationality than with the other citizens of the American Republic. The men who do not become Americans and nothing else are hyphenated Americans; and there ought to be no room for them in this country. The man who calls himself an American citizen and who yet shows by his actions that he is primarily the citizen of a foreign land, plays a thoroughly mischievous part in the life of our body politic. He has no place here; and the sooner he returns to the land to which he feels his real heart-allegiance, the better it will be for every good American.

Theodore Roosevelt, brother to pirates, 1915

On that note, all the special interest groups foment hyphenization and racial favoritism. Parasite Obama loves to take money from the working white middle class and dedicate it to programs they are not themselves eligible to benefit from, on the grounds of their race and nation of origin, all the time saying something else entirely, with no explanation, plus lying his ass off to the kids. This is why the analogy of the tea party was raised: taxation without representation. You see it now, Bill?

Last word to "L" -
I initially directed my comments to Bill Maher about Bill O'Reilly, a public figure. Not YOU, someone who is undoubtedly not a public figure. So why do YOU care what I have to say about someone else? And why do you feel you have to take it upon yourself to defend O'Reilly, the bully, by being, well, another bully? O'Reilly dishes it out like no one else, and yet is strangely thin-skinned for such a tough guy. So sensitive and pathologically immature that he resorts to getting his goon squad - PEOPLE LIKE YOU - to doing his dirty work for him, like beheading someone who dares to disagree with him. Am I describing you? Are you the Rand Paul supporter in the video clip who stepped on that woman's head because it wasn't enough to simply disagree?

I make it a point to avoid blogger comments precisely BECAUSE of the reactionary, simple-minded hatespew from people like you. I should have expected disturbed rantings from people who think it is appropriate to behead journalists like Daniel Pearl or Dana Milbank simply for holding a different viewpoint.

Since you are obviously another O'Reilly dittohead who cannot tolerate dissent from your master, you shouldn't be wasting time thinking murderous thoughts about people you haven't met. You should be beheading them.

With such a keen, probing and open mind, no doubt you were the captain of your college debate team, right?

Goodbye "L" - go ahead and have the last word because I know it would kill you not to. I am departing this dark, demented, depressing world of blogger commentators and returning to a more civilized place where people actually exchange viewpoints without the ridiculous gradeschool taunts and anonymous, gutless threats. Good luck with your rage problem. Tell all your mentors at Fox News I said hey.

republicans the Monopoly guy

Displaying these symbols next to candidates' names will make it easier for voters to determine what kind of government they will be getting. Sponsor logos too, just like NASCAR. The more they pay, the bigger and more prominent the logo. Call it 'transparency'.

Good news for the Democrats - Sarah Palin almost announced today her decision to run for the President in 2012. Poor Americans again will have no choice but vote "against". Our "hope" to make a decision based on the performance of B.Obama reflecting that he really "got it", almost vanished. We don't want our country to become a one-party state, we want the candidates from both parties being educated, experienced, open-mined individuals who will respect the people's wishes, who will unite people instead of dividing them and are qualified to lead our great country? We want to be proud not ashamed of our country, I believe "we worth it".

Obama was caught lying on his financial aid documents. He stole from a truly poor American. His college degrees should be revoked as he lacks moral integrity.

On television Bill Maher admitted lying on his financial aid application. His college degree should be revoked also, but more important he is not qualified to comment on Obama's theft.

Al Gore did not invent the internet, but he did campaign to mandate government spyware be installed in every computer in America. Al Gore did not discover global warming, but he did cause the intentional wide spread falsification of scientific data by threatening the economic security & careers of scientists. Al Gore and the Democrats did not produce the economic boom of the 90s, though they did take credit for it. Al Gore and the democrats did nothing while the Bush administration crippled the Bill of Rights. Obama and the democrats did extend this unconstitutional, criminal policy.

Al Gore Sr. did obstruct J Edgar Hoover from investigating communist and murderer Armand Hammer. Armand Hammer did give Al Gore Sr. a $160 million zinc mine, which Al Gore Sr. did immediately sign over to Al Gore, after taking $10 million.

Al Gore Sr. has nothing on the Nazi traitor Prescott Bush.

So Bill, what fucking accomplishments were you ranting about? You really shouldn't make material misrepresentations to your audience you political hacker. It is because of people like you and Obama and Obama's absent but present father that there should be no financial aid program, but instead all tuition should be adjusted down and that perverse social engineering bureaucracy, and all others like it, be shut down immediately.

I'm also a liberal but with certain extend - I don't think Glenn Beck is to decide what a woman should do with her body, and when I order scrambling eggs for breakfast I don't feel guilty for eating "poor unborn chickens", and if a gay couple wants to get married they shouldn't have Sarah Palin's permission - but I don't tolerate intolerance (think a Ground Zero mosque absurd project) and I don't march left, left, left with an army of liberals who Lenin called "useful idiots". The senator above mentioned was a clever man, who had made his own way, heedless of those things which present obstacles, and which are called conscience, sworn faith, justice, duty: he had marched straight to his goal, without once flinching in the line of his advancement and his interest. He was an old attorney, softened by success; not a bad man by any means, who rendered all the small services in his power to his sons, his sons-in-law, his relations, and even to his friends, having wisely seized upon, in life, good sides, good opportunities, good windfalls. Everything else seemed to him very stupid. He was intelligent, and just sufficiently educated to think himself a disciple of Epicurus; while he was, in reality, only a product of Pigault-Lebrun. Passages in the Bible and Koran prove the Earth is a flat disk 25,000 miles across.
The geography of the Earth is identical to the map on the UN flag. The UN knows!
The Sun and Moon are each 32 miles across and orbit the Earth at an altitude of 3000 miles.
Seasons are caused by regular variations in the distance of the Sun's orbit.
The stars are 100 mile above the Sun and the Moon.
Gravity is caused by the Earth disk constantly moving up like an elevator.
There is a wall of ice around the edge of the Earth that keeps the ocean in & us from falling off.
The Apollo moon landings were all fake. NASA is a scam. There are no satellites, its a trick.
The oceans would run off if the Earth were a ball.
If Earth was a ball, you could only live on the north pole because you'd be tilted or upside down anywhere else.
The reason things seem to go over the horizon is an illusion because we see far things with the top of our eye and near things with the bottom of the eye.
Working for Satan, treacherous, cunning whites and the people they tricked & enslaved believed this. It was a struggle to convince them otherwise; hemlock was involved. The same sneaky white bastards created evolution and plate tectonics.

And then I realized... like I was shot... like I was shot with a diamond... a diamond bullet right through my forehead. And I thought, My God... Walmart grade schools and Walmart high schools in every town could deliver the same result, for a fraction of what it costs now. They could produce the same citizens without judgment... without judgment! Because it's judgment that defeats us. Plus they have ready vocational placement resources for the whashouts, and the whashouts will already be able to find the place their job is at.

Yesterday I saw a woman in a burka walking up the road in front of my house, on a sidewalk built last year with stimulus funds, where no sidewalk was necessary for over 40 years. She is the 1st person I have seen walking on it.

My first impression was "Wtf? Fucking Obama's invaders!" My second thought was, she's alone, about 5' and can hardly walk in that burlap bag. She might be trying to escape the cult that put her in it, and that she was at risk of being kidnapped by messican pimps. It does. She was on the wrong side of the road and as hitchhikers increasingly rob people - since the Mexican invasion - and since she is obviously a brainwashed extremist the fbi would be watching if they weren't infiltrated & compromised by the khazar criminals, I didn't stop, turn around & ask if she needed assistance.

The messicans & khazars have severely strained my generosity.

I was going to the store. As I went to park some car turned on their signal to claim the space I was parking in, but it was obviously mine already. She honked as I parked; noone honks around here. She was a mexican cow and swore at me like a bull dike; also inappropriate around here. I said nothing, so she wished me dead. I didn't die, so she threatened she would 'hit' my car. I didn't turn back. She didn't follow me, so I didn't smash her head to a bloody pulp defending myself. If I were smaller I'm sure she would have throw down on me.

In the 70s when the Iranian refugees came here they assimilated. There are good reasons to assimilate; the weak & the strange get picked off by the increasing number of vicious crazies.

Chomsky compared this to the Weimar republic; the IJC syndicate hasn't declared war on us... yet. I think its more like the presidency of Wilson, following Grant; or Millard Fillmore: the calm before the storm.

The true characteristics of the communist party are to be found not so much in its theories as in its methods of organization. Keep in mind they are applying a new concept of warfare. A concept of conquering a country from within. How do you conquer a country from within? You conquer it by capturing the organizations that operate inside that country. A labor union, a farm organization, a newspaper guild, a teacher’s association, a political club, a government agency, etc., are considered power centers. A sum total of these organizations is the sum total of power. A party organizes inside of these organizations group by group. To fight them effectively one has to do the same to reverse. Mere resolution passing cannot cope with that sort of enemy. 1955

President John Adams said...

In the seventh century of the Christian era a wandering Arab, of the lineage of Hagar, the Egyptian, combing the powers of transcendent genius with the preternatural energy of a fanatic and the fraudulent spirit of an imposter, proclaimed himself as a messenger from heaven, and spread desolation and delusion over an extensive portion of the earth.

Adopting, from the sublime conception of the Mosaic law, the doctrine of one omnipotent God, he connected indissolubly with it the audacious falsehood, that he was himself his prophet and apostle. Adopting from the new revelation of Jesus, the faith and hope of immortal life, and of future retribution, he humbled it to the dust by adapting all the rewards and sanctions of his religion to the gratification of the sexual passion. He poisoned the sources of human felicity at the fountain, by degrading the condition of the female sex, and the allowance of polygamy; and he declared undistinguishing and exterminating war as part of his religion against all the rest of mankind. THE ESSENCE OF HIS DOCTRINE WAS VIOLENCE AND LUST: TO EXALT THE BRUTAL OVER THE SPIRITUAL PART OF HUMAN NATURE (Adam's capital letters).

Between these two religions, thus contrasted in the characters, a war of more than twelve hundred years has already raged. That war is yet flagrant; nor can it cease but by the extincture of that imposture, which has been permitted by Providence to prolong the degeneracy of man. While the merciless and dissolute are encouraged to furnish motives to human action, there never can be peace on earth and good will toward men. The hand of Ishmael will be against every man, and every man’s hand against him.

Adolf Hitler said...

You see, it's been our misfortune to have the wrong religion. Why didn't we have the religion of the Japanese, who regard sacrifice for the Fatherland as the highest good? The Mohammedan religion too would have been more compatible to us than Christianity. Why did it have to be Christianity with its meekness and flabbiness?

Too many people have been spied upon by too many Government agencies and too much information has been collected. The Government has often undertaken the secret surveillance of citizens on the basis of their political beliefs, even when those beliefs posed no threat of violence or illegal acts on behalf of a hostile foreign power. The Government, operating primarily through secret informants, but also using other intrusive techniques such as wiretaps, microphone "bugs", surreptitious mail opening, and break-ins, has swept in vast amounts of information about the personal lives, views, and associations of American citizens. Investigations of groups deemed potentially dangerous -- and even of groups suspected of associating with potentially dangerous organizations -- have continued for decades, despite the fact that those groups did not engage in unlawful activity. Groups and individuals have been harassed and disrupted because of their political views and their lifestyles. Investigations have been based upon vague standards whose breadth made excessive collection inevitable. Unsavory and vicious tactics have been employed -- including anonymous attempts to break up marriages, disrupt meetings, ostracize persons from their professions, and provoke target groups into rivalries that might result in deaths. Intelligence agencies have served the political and personal objectives of presidents and other high officials. While the agencies often committed excesses in response to pressure from high officials in the Executive branch and Congress, they also occasionally initiated improper activities and then concealed them from officials whom they had a duty to inform.

Governmental officials -- including those whose principal duty is to enforce the law --have violated or ignored the law over long periods of time and have advocated and defended their right to break the law.

The Constitutional system of checks and balances has not adequately controlled intelligence activities. Until recently the Executive branch has neither delineated the scope of permissible activities nor established procedures for supervising intelligence agencies. Congress has failed to exercise sufficient oversight, seldom questioning the use to which its appropriations were being put. Most domestic intelligence issues have not reached the courts, and in those cases when they have reached the courts, the judiciary has been reluctant to grapple with them.

Ayn Rand said...

Today, when a concerted effort is made to obliterate this point, it cannot be repeated too often that the Constitution is a limitation on the government, not on private individuals—that it does not prescribe the conduct of private individuals, only the conduct of the government—that it is not a charter for government power, but a charter of the citizen’s protection against the government.

America’s abundance was created not by public sacrifices to “the common good,” but by the productive genius of free men who pursued their own personal interests and the making of their own private fortunes. They did not starve the people to pay for America’s industrialization. They gave the people better jobs, higher wages and cheaper goods with every new machine they invented, with every scientific discovery or technological advance—and thus the whole country was moving forward and profiting, not suffering, every step of the way.

The goal of the “liberals”—as it emerges from the record of the past decades—was to smuggle this country into welfare statism by means of single, concrete, specific measures, enlarging the power of the government a step at a time, never permitting these steps to be summed up into principles, never permitting their direction to be identified or the basic issue to be named. Thus, statism was to come, not by vote or by violence, but by slow rot—by a long process of evasion and epistemological corruption, leading to a fait accompli.

In this serious hour in our Nation's history when we are confronted with grave crises in Berlin and Southeast Asia, when we are devoting our energies to economic recovery and stability, when we are asking reservists to leave their homes and their families for months on end and servicemen to risk their lives--and four were killed in the last two days in Viet Nam and asking union members to hold down their wage requests at a time when restraint and sacrifice are being asked of every citizen, the American people will find it hard, as I do, to accept a situation in which a tiny handful of steel executives whose pursuit of private power and profit exceeds their sense of public responsibility can show such utter contempt for the interests of 185 million Americans.

Price and wage decisions in this country, except for a very limited restriction in the case of monopolies and national emergency strikes, are and ought to be freely and privately made. But the American people have a right to expect, in return for that freedom, a higher sense of business responsibility for the welfare of their country than has been shown in the last 2 days.

Some time ago I asked each American to consider what he would do for his country and I asked the steel companies. In the last 24 hours we had their answer.

To know and not to know, to be conscious of complete truthfulness while telling carefully constructed lies, to hold simultaneously two opinions which cancelled out, knowing them to be contradictory and believing in both of them, to use logic against logic, to repudiate morality while laying claim to it, to believe that democracy was impossible and that the Party was the guardian of democracy, to forget, whatever it was necessary to forget, then to draw it back into memory again at the moment when it was needed, and then promptly to forget it again, and above all, to apply the same process to the process itself -- that was the ultimate subtlety; consciously to induce unconsciousness, and then, once again, to become unconscious of the act of hypnosis you had just performed. Even to understand the word 'doublethink' involved the use of doublethink.

OK I am new to Bill Maher, I can honestly say I have not missed a thing! I saw Religlous on Showtime, watched for about 15 mins. I really thought it would be about different faiths??? My heart goes out to you, the inserts were horrible.... you made fun of people and their faiths! I understand that you are suppose to be a comdian, but you are not funny! I am a christian, but I do not believe one's belief is greater than anothers.. it is up to each person to have their own personal relationship with God!! You have the right to believe the way you wish, but do not make fun of another persons belief or faith. When it comes to God, keep your comic view to yourself. Only you will have to stand and answer for the wrongs in your life..... so you believe the way you want! But DO NOT dismiss God in any way, for someday I promise you will cry out to him!!! May God bless and find you!!

OK, so they might have found bacteria on another body in our solar system. BFD, I believe in panspermia and the general ignorance of the race. So, I told you so. Keep in mind, Darwinism predicts that only a small percent carry the evolutionary traits we call intelligence. They didn't sensationalize this promo for me, and they didn't do it for nothing.

How could this be politicized? I mean how could it not be politicized? Remember President Obama announced he was going to cut NASA's bloated budget? NASA is definitely the most overfunded civilian bureaucracy; maybe the Church of National Science Faith is catching up. They whipped out a secret they've kept on ice for 20 years, nothing too dramatic, to screw the American taxpayers a little bit more, a little bit deeper. Or maybe they cooked it in a tax exempt Mexican meth lab in California's scenic central valley. An industrial meth lab - not this shit cooked from cough syrup, real brain damage - is just the kind of toxic environment in which such things would be found.

NASA scientists are thin skinned flakes. President Obama should gun them down with transparency. Show us the books. The Pentagon lost 2.3 trillion (officially), I bet NASA lost something far more 'astronomical'.

Any statistician can prove there is intelligence life in the universe & it shouldn't cost more than dinner.

Vanessa,
The followers of some Gods think they are supposed to destroy 'nonbelievers' in their God. The followers of other Gods believe they are to destroy the planet. Even others think their God gives them the right to rape and torture and murder anyone they want, anytime. So your assertion that people's ideas of God cannot be critically discussed, questioned, investigated, condemned and prosecuted reflects a lack of consideration for the sanctity of life other than your own.

The God is a subject vital to everyone on the planet. Now Bill Maher has made you think about it, apparently more than you ever have. What are you going to do with this opportunity? That is, other than shooting the messenger?

I hold to the values of Gaia the Goddess. The greeks called this planet Gaia and it nurtures all life, selecting to create us. The Jews twisted it to favor them, they aren't the chosen ones, the entire human race is. We alone have developed the ability to communicate quite nearly to being telepathy. As you read this my ideas are transferred to you; time and space are no longer obstacles.

I believe that we are all in this together and that ignorance is the one true common problem. Not the monsters under your bed. Don't be afraid, hit the books. You can't believe everything you see & hear, can you?

pitbullstew I'm offended by your blovaiting. So justice may be served, please take a 100 foot running start head first into a masonry wall. This may help me feel better. You may have to do it three or four more times before I'm fully recovered from your insensitivity, ignorance and malice. Also, up the dosages on ALL your med's. YOU TOOL!

We have to be tolerant of the intolerant? To do so is to submit to the authority of an angry, abusive stepfather, who will never be pleased no matter what we do to appease him.

I like that. Unfortunately the people we are dealing with are not in line with it. As they like to say, Islam = submission. We have separation of church and state and the religions that practice here don't currently advocate and act to murder of everyone who is not a member of their church and execute any who attempt to leave their church. This isn't a religious group, its a gang.

Hate of oppression's arbitrary plan,
The love of freedom, and the rights of man;
A strong desire to save from slavery's chain
The future millions of the western main,
And hand down safe, from men's invention cleared,
The sacred truths which all the just revered;
For ends like these, I wish to draw my breath,'
He bravely cried, 'or dare encounter death.'
And when a cruel wretch pronounced his doom,
Replied, 'Tis well, —for all is peace to come;
The sacred cause for which I drew my sword
Shall yet prevail, and peace shall be restored.
I’ve served with zeal the land that gave me birth,
Fulfilled my course, and done my work on earth;
Have ever aimed to tread that shining road
That leads a mortal to the blessed God.
I die resigned, and quit life's empty stage,
For brighter worlds my every wish engage;
And while my body slumbers in the dust,
My soul shall join the assemblies of the just.

CNN reported on Dec. 22 , that WikiLeaks cables on Afghanistan show monumental corruption . " Hundreds of U.S. diplomatic cables obtained by WikiLeaks paint a picture of corruption at every level of government and society ." The NY Times (Dec. 22) describes the scale of corruption as "overwhelming" . And yet , President Obama and Hillary Clinton are doing everything possible to hide this from the public by wanting to prosecute WikiLeaks rather than the criminal officials of the Karzai government - and continue urging support for the insanity occurring in afghanistan ... Utterly amazing !!! ...

Its about time for the 'intelligence community' to start issuing bogus leaks to Assange in order to discredit him and to get him to overstep the fine line he has been careful to honor. He has done a great job so far separating legitimate state business from the stuff the cockroaches are trying to hide. They may issue stuff in his name after they grab him.

The cockroaches are pissed off. Good. Dinosaur media is dead too. Very good. One thing though...

Obama recently through an executive order gave INTERPOL diplomatic immunity. This creates a law enforcement entity that does not uphold American laws and is not accountable to any representatives of the American people. This is entirely unconstitutional. Its reckless and destructive to our nation Obama is challenging states rights across the board in order to deflect a challenge to federal authority over them.

Hey! Yo!
We're the United States Marines
We know you've all been killing each other
For at least two thousand years
But we're here now
To protect the family
Of Christian heroin warlords
Most friendly to the West
So you knock off this fighting
Or we'll tell Mom
Ever notice news
Is staged like TV wrestling shows
With Reagans and Khaddafis cast
As cartoon villains and heroes
Or those wildlife "documentaries"
Where a lion from a zoo
Kills a deer tied down ahead of time
At the perfect camera angle
When lemmings balk at dying for Disney
They're just hurled off the cliff...
We are gathered here today
To take photos of the President
Pretending to mourn these brave young me
Who came home from Beirut
Gift-wrapped in body bags-
A truck bomb blew them to bits
We knew they were sitting ducks
We sacrificed 'em, Aztec style
So we could use their dead meat
To cook up war fever back home
So make sure you take lots of pictures
And slant your news our way
Just like in Wild Kingdom
We first tied down the prey
We want people boiling for revenge
In their living rooms
So we can go play shoot-em-up
Anywhere we choose
And our backers can cash in
Without the public asking questions
