Sorry to comment before you post, but you're getting slow, old man!!

I agree with your stance on teachers not being disadvantaged based on the students they teach. On the other hand, there is a developing model known as "value added" that evaluates teachers based upon the change in their students across an academic year. It's not yet perfected, but it's a step in the right direction....just FYI

The level of ignorance you bring to the airwaves every night is astounding. Keep it up though, people like you help thinking people establish a baseline from which to build from.

So... you consider yourself to be a "thinking" person who works from a baseline of ignorance?

Well, you got that one half right anyway...

Voter ID laws: You should be encouraging people to get voter IDs at this stage of the game. Saying that the laws are unconstitutional (which they are) is not helping. The laws will be amended prior to the election so that they will be constitutional. The IDs and any supporting documents will all of a sudden become free to obtain thus removing the violation of the 24th amendment. People won't really have enough time to comply with the laws and get IDs but the courts will rule that there was plenty of time because they will go by the initial date the laws were passed. The message should be "fight the law but comply with so that you don't lose your right to vote." A state rep said "I didn't expect the (voter ID) law to cause such controversy." As soon as I heard that, I realized the real game plan.

Use this link to sign a petition requesting Mr. Romney to apologize for his comments on the night of Sept 11, 2012.

Hold Mitt Romney accountable for his actions and share the link!

Bill, why is it that no where do you see a link drawn between the Bush and Bin Laden families, as a way to explain the lack of focus on Osama Bin Laden and Al Qaeda? The two family have old roots together, and it seems a natural conclusion to come to, especially considering how the Bin Laden's that were in the US on the day of 9/11 were spirited out of the US.

Guest Suggestion: Chris Hedges and Joe Sacco for their new book: "Days of Destruction, Days of Revolt"

When you mourned the 3-day-a-week newspaper, one of your guests mentioned the fact that reporters getting out on the beat must be a priority. Hedges and Sacco have gone to America's sacrifice zones and observed, interviewed, researched. The information they've gathered is timely and deserves to be discussed NOW!

You're criticisms of the Christian faith and those who follow it are interesting for a person such as myself who observes no organized religion. Even so, I don't feel compelled to mock a religion or its adherents. I'm curious as to why you disproportionately attack Christianity while ignoring Islam. Christianity certainly had a history of violence such as during the Inquisition back in the 1500's and intermitently since. Islam, however, oppresses half of it's followers-that being its women, and isn't shy about killing those who defame its god. If you've been an equal-opportunity attack dog of all the world's dominant faiths and I've missed it, I apologize for suggesting otherwise. If not I'm curious as to why? Is it simply wisdom and self-preservation because you understand followers of one faith may kill you while fololwers of most other faiths will largely remain quiet? Just asking. . . .

I think he uses christianity as the example of all religious brainwashing, because its the dominant form in the USA and people recognize it. Also it is being true to liberal bias to avoid pointing out the equal or worse abuses of minority groups, which the mentally crippled Muslims, Jews, Hindus, and victims of George H Bush's dear friend and felon Sun Myongo Moon definitely are Just to name a few. So the child molesting agents of a foreign power aren't being singled out, they are just the main course.
Look at the whole thing. The State has equally crippling techniques of child abuse and control, mostly based on the church techniques. Pay attention to the sexual deformity currently being legislated to be imposed on infants. Apparently guilting prepubescent adolescents isn 't effective in literate cultures, so they are going for a more vulnerable target: the pointless sexually active period age 3-5.
No matter who does it, cornering children and filling their heads with shit is an abomination that deserves absolute punishment. Don't you remember your childhood?

PLEASE LEVERAGE THIS TALKING POINT...

The Romney Refund - As I have paid well over $1M in federal taxes, and Gov. Romney has stated I as a 47%er I am a lazy victim that pays no taxes, I am due an apology ...or a refund of my $1M+.

As Republicans never apologize, if Romney is elected, doesn't he owe me a refund??????????.

NEARLY LOAFER
If the 47% that pay no fed taxes are complete loafers...wouldn't those that only pay 13% (Romney et al) be NEAR LOAFERS?
