Larry Flynt Wants to See Mitt Romney’s Taxes

A radio interview with Ann Romney in Baltimore, back in April:

INTERVIEWER: Do you have to fight back some criticism, like "My husband isn't stiff, OK?"

ANN ROMNEY: Well, you know, I guess we better unzip him and let the real Mitt Romney out because he is not!

I hope, when someone unzips the real Mitt Romney and lets him out, that I am no longer alive. That said, this stupid story is the closest thing Romney has ever come to a sex scandal. So Larry Flynt wants Mitt to whip out his taxes instead. And he's ready to pay (in the well-worn words of Dr. Evil)... one million dollars. According to CNN:
Flynt is offering the reward to anyone who can dig up new evidence of the GOP candidate's "unreleased tax returns and/or details of his offshore assets, bank accounts, and business partnerships."
Flynt ran an ad in the Washington Post and another in USA Today. I wonder about Larry Flynt's motives. What kind of sicko throws away a million dollars on an election? I also wouldn't be surprised if Larry wasn't trying to distract us from his own scandals. The odds that he's Honey Boo Boo's real father are extremely high. But there are two unpleasant things about this story:

1) Mitt Romney has made us all accept that his taxes are a legitimate secret, like his sex life. Instead of something a voter deserves to know, especially if the candidate's only arguments for his candidacy are a) his saintly honor and b) his ability to make money hand over fucking fist. Mitt Romney: Ultra Job Creator not releasing his taxes is like Ulysses Grant running and refusing to talk about the Civil War.

2) Why doesn't Mitt Romney have a sex scandal? He got married at birth or something, and he's never strayed. Because there's no money in it. And there's the risk that it could bring pleasure to someone. But think about it: There's a very real chance that the next president of the United States is a 65-year-old "bishop" who’s only had sex with one woman.

Is that it? Romney is not going to have to show his tax returns? I kept thinking at some point he'd have to? How is this not a bigger deal? Surely Obama will hammer him with it while he's wiping the floor with him during the debates?

Hopefully Larry Flynt will get what he's asking for - I support his endeavor to dig up the truth (the hidden truth, that is) on Romney. The sad fact is that without people like Larry (and Bill Maher!), this tax issue just disappears because the media sure isn't pursuing it. And the American people are dumb as a box of rocks, so unless it involves big tits or the latest iPhone, no one cares.

Hi Bill, This isn't related to Romney's tax returns but I hope you discuss this new story related to climate change. It is now affecting Christmas Trees.

With climate change now affecting Christmas trees, wouldn’t it be sadly ironic that those think global warming is a hoax and believe liberals are raging a war on Christmas… are in fact the ones that killed Christmas!

ONE YEAR LATER...
As most of you are aware, today marks the first anniversary of Occupy Wall Street.
Many people call it a "movement" and there are arguments about precisely what kind of movement it is if it is one. I personally spend zero time worrying about this.
For me OWS was an event and that event was about raising the public's awareness of one thing, the intersection of rampant control fraud and political corruption between the TBTF banks and Washington DC; the many ways this phenomena has decimated the lives of so many ordinary Americans.
In this respect they succeeded. Few would argue otherwise.
Unfortunately, the efforts fell on deaf and corrupt ears in our hollow halls of democracy.
Now, instead of making wisecracks about the people who are on the street today attempting, as hard as it is in Blumfukistan, to raise a civil ruckus, I would ask you all to consider the following.
When OWS was conceived and first kicked off last year, there was no MF Global fiasco, Jon Corzine was still CEO, no one knew who the London Whale was, Jamie Dimon was still exhaulted by the MSM as Wall Street's Mr Clean, Bob Diamond was still CEO of Barclays, no one in Washington knew what LIBOR was. There was no sham Fraudclosure settlement, no sham Securitization task force. There were, however, a handful of ongoing criminal investigations of Wall Street Banks...all subsequently terminated.
Last week we learned of the latest Mother of all Keynesian Bailouts. Try as they will to convince us that QE3 is designed to help the little guy, we of Zero Hedge all know otherwise don't we?
What is obvious is that since last September, our corporatist kleptofraudtocracy has only gotten exponentially worse.
The final insult was not the silence on these matters at the GOP convention (after all, we all know that Mitt the Twit is a Wall Street Ponzi pimp).
The final insult was the expectation of the Obamocrats that we would all accept their Big Lie. The biggest lie of all, that they and their Wall Street Bitch in Chief have cracked down on Banksterism.
There is not one shred of evidence that supports this Big Lie. A Big Lie that would make Herr Goebbels very very proud.
So today, instead of making wiseass remarks about unemployed, dirty long hair hippy anarchists armed with iPhones, iCollectivists and liberal arts students stepping off the curbs or chalking up the sidewalks, I would ask all of you to do something else...
Remind as many as you can of the outrageous fucking fraud that continues to be perpetrated by the thieves in pinstripes and hand made brogues and their harem of DC Bitches.

Larry is so naive! While that kinda money will pay for a lot of beaver shots, it will never get a Republican to spread his tax returns.

Everyone has an opinion. Does anyone have ideas?
I too believe that we could make wonderful positive change if we did something about our educational system.

Here is what I suggest. Read and consider. (short version)

I believe strongly a Self-Sustained Living class should be mandatory alongside Math, Reading, English, and Science.

Benefits from such a class would be far reaching. Examples; Willingness to assist, obesity rate lowered, interests in the frivolous lowered, innovations in various fields drastically increased(because everyone would have the basic working knowledge of the world around them), laziness decreased, more people taking interest in the various fields of study. Knowledge is power and people do not have the basic knowledge of the working world around them, therefore they feel powerless and uninterested. That creates a dysfunctional and weak society.

Teach kids from an early age through age appropriate progression; how to grow their own crops using the best methods for the various circumstances, how to work safely with electricity, how to raise livestock, how to butcher, how to field dress, how to make cheese, how to culture yeast, how to do basic plumbing work, basic automotive work....etc..

This era of specialization I believe makes us weak, both physically and mentally as an individual and a society.

Not too long ago self-sustained living was a necessity therefore practiced by just about everyone. Self-sustained Living was practiced by those who made this Country great. It would absolutely make us stronger as a Nation if we were made up of citizens that had the knowledge to live dependent on one's self.

I'm not suggesting that we go back to primitive way of life, not at all. Textbooks and the other various teaching tools that would be used to teach the subject of Self Sustained Living would constantly change and evolve with the times. As new various common everyday technology advances, appliances, and methods are introduced to the world around us the Self Sustained Living classes would then incorporate these new advances into their teachings.

We must equip citizens with basic working knowledge of their everyday environment.

It just seems unwise and illogical for people to drive cars they don't know how to work on, rely on electrical appliances that they don't know how to work on, stand in long lines at the grocery store to buy vegetables they could grow themselves, call a plumber for something they could do themselves. I'm not saying we can become experts at everything, there will still be specialization, but at least give people the basic knowledge to troubleshoot the problems presented around them. Specialization would grow by leaps and bounds if everyone had basic working knowledge of the world around them. The innovations in the areas of specialization would rapidly increase because it would have to in order for someone to still be considered an expert in their area of specialization. The bar would be raised and therefore innovations and advancement would be a necessity in the areas of specialization so that they remained ahead of the everyday citizen’s working knowledge.
I also believe that just by teaching Self-Sustained Living that it would positively affect our culture and individual’s perspective on life.

I think making such a class mandatory would make a huge difference, something so simple.

Who knows what evil lurks in the hearts of men, and where it can be found? Larry Flynt knows... good man.

Obama accomplishments:

President Obama’s Executive Order amending President Ronald Reagans’ 1983 EO 12425 and placing INTERPOL above the United States Constitution…
http://fratres.wordpress.com/2009/12/24/interpol-in-america-we-await-an-explanation-mr-president/comment-page-1/#comment-8872:
December 17, 2009, The White House released an Executive Order “Amending Executive Order 12425.” It grants INTERPOL (International Criminal Police Organization) a new level of full diplomatic immunity afforded to foreign embassies and select other “International Organizations” as set forth in the United States International Organizations Immunities Act of 1945.
By removing language from President Reagan’s 1983 Executive Order 12425, this international law enforcement body now operates – now operates – on American soil beyond the reach of our own top law enforcement arm, the FBI, and is immune from Freedom Of Information Act (FOIA) requests.

Obama gives himself control of all communication systems in America
Published: 10 July, 2012, 00:11,

US President Barack Obama quietly signed his name to an Executive Order on Friday, allowing the White House to control all private communications in the country in the name of national security.
President Obama released his latest Executive Order on Friday, July 6, a 2,205-word statement offered as the “Assignment of National Security and Emergency Preparedness Communications Functions.” And although the president chose not to commemorate the signing with much fanfare, the powers he provides to himself and the federal government under the latest order are among the most far-reaching yet of any of his executive decisions.

Democrats hacked the 2008 Obama election

Stratfor, the US-based private intelligence company, says that Senator John McCain's campaign knew that electoral fraud was going on in 2008 but chose to do nothing. What is going on now as President Obama faces changed circumstances?

I would like to see Obama's REAL birth certificate, not forgery he put on internet. I am sure he was NOT born in US, based on numerous information published by various sources. I don't trust mainstream media as I found it is a banch of liars.

But I'll bet you trust Faux News, right? Fair and balanced, lol? Let's hope RomneyCare, oops, i mean ObamaCare covers state mental hospitals... clearly you need one!!! You teabaggers are completely bats!!!!!

They said the people voting for mitt romney are either ignorant (because they don't understand or try to research) or rich because he benefits them. He doesn't think people have the right to food, clothing, or shelter. He also thinks you should just borrow from your parents if you don't have. I don't know what the rest of America should do, I hope that's his next conversation caught on tape

Can u imagine a world where people actually paid their taxes and offshore accounts were not available? The Guardian this week reported that an estimated 75 trillon dollars is squirreled away in offshore accounts; more than the GDP of America and Japan combined. All in the hands of 0.0001% of the world's population, sure as shit Romney is one of them.

From the beginning I knew Romney wouldn't show his taxes. I have a feeling there's a bunch of back taxes, problems he doesn't want people to see. But who knows what he may or may not be hiding.

I work in finance and I actually read Mitt's 2011 tax return. (I know, get a life). It's posted on his website.
I noticed page after page after page of $1, $3 and $10 transactions in foreign held accounts. These are not $1 thousand or $1 million, they are one dollar. I've asked a number of people what these are and nobody can give me a good answer. Like, "these are transactions for some of his smaller speculative investments". One dollar?! A tiny investment for this guy is more like $100,000.
My SWAG is that these tiny transactions are somehow required to keep the accounts active so the money continues to get sheltered. And I'm sure Mitt doesn't know anything about them. Whatever, smells fishy to me.

I think Mitt's refusial to disclose his taxes dwarfs Obama's refusal to produce a US birth certificate

This was when Romney was Governor in MA;

The Romney Administration consulted with Massachusetts Institute of Technology professor Jonathan Gruber to study the state's population and health care needs. They determined that there was enough money in the "free care pool" to implement the Governor's plans, but that it would require more people to buy health insurance at full price in order to pay into the subsidized fund.

The legislature amended Romney's plan, adding a Medicaid expansion for children and imposing an assessment on firms with 11 or more workers who do not offer health coverage. The assessment is intended to equalize the contributions to the free care pool from employers that offer and do not offer coverage. The General Court also rejected Romney's provision allowing high-deductible health plans.

Romney vetoed eight sections of the health care legislation, including a $295-per-person fee on businesses with 11 employees or more that do not provide health insurance. Romney also vetoed provisions providing dental and eyeglass benefits to poor residents on the Medicaid program, and providing health coverage to senior and disabled legal immigrants not eligible for federal Medicaid. However, the state legislature overrode all of the vetoes.

1994 debate with Ted Kennedy where Romney defends abortion and Roe vs. Wade. Unbelievable. Please spread the news.
