I don't anything about Gaddafi except that he politically stabilized Libya for 50 years. The reason I know nothing is because the federal government threw a blanket over it, only blowing smoke occasionally when it suited them to manipulate public opinion.
IMO DC should focus on fixing the disasters they have created domestically instead of attempting to divert attention and the press should stop sucking up to them like camp followers and report the real, relevant news.
That said, Fox News s/b renamed Weasel News, because they have no foxes. They all look like wesasels to me. Bill O'Reilly looks like a suspicious groundhog, on his better days a grouchy old guy who still doesn't realize Archie Bunker was a parody; Rush Limbaugh looks like a gopher with beady eyes, sucking on a big brown dick; and Glenn Beck looks like a weepy chipmunk. GOT SCAMMED FOR BILL MAHER TICKETS!!! This is the only opportunity I could find on Bill's website to vent my frustration with the fact that I paid three times face value for two tickets to his concert at the Moody theater in Austin, TX. This after being connected by a DIRECT LINK FROM BILL"S OWN SCHEDULE PAGE ON HIS WEBSITE to a ticket outlet called www.ticketingcentral.com. The price seemed steep, but not off the charts. Besides, I've never been to one of his shows, so I had no idea what it would cost. The link, still on the schedule page, is now a dead end. All other links to shows in other cities direct users to the actual venues where he is appearing. So I got hosed - boo hoo - buyer beware. The point of contention here is that Bill has, unwittingly I hope, served as an agent in this swindle via HIS OWN SITE. How and why did this link get on his site? If anyone in Bill's organization actually reads this, I would appreciate an explanation. I would ordinarily shrug this off, but it is difficult to accept that someone as outspoken against corruption as Bill is would have anything to do with such a scheme, especially considering that the victim is one of his fans who jumped at the chance to see him live!

The Feds have raided more than two dozen medical marijuana dispensaries across California and Montana. Armed agents from the Drug Enforcement Administration, FBI, and ATF swept through 28 stores and greenhouses, detaining the workers there and seizing computers, plants, and other items. Where will the Feds go next? More than 20 states, including California, have decriminalized marijuana or legalized its use for medical purposes.
The raids represent a swift change in law enforcement policy: When Obama took office, Attorney General Eric Holder promised to end the Bush-era attacks on sellers of medicinal marijuana and the patients who use it. Obama made the same promise on the campaign trail:
"I would not have the Justice Department prosecuting and raiding medical marijuana users. It's not a good use of our resources." (August 21, 2007, event in Nashua, New Hampshire)
Now the Feds are even refusing to say why they conducted these raids, and if and when they'll be pressing any charges. This shift in policy puts medical marijuana sellers and patients across America in jeopardy: There's no telling what rights will be next.

In the letter you sent me.. you explained how Veterans, current Military, and future military will have to take a cut in pay and a cut in Benefits or the letters words However, proposals to restructure compensation and benefits for current and future members of the military will have to be considered as part of overall cuts to the defense budget... but you have never served this country in its military and have no idea what it is like to wake up screaming from nightmares, or waking up in pain everyday of your life because you were injured in another country fighting for The United States of America.. Instead, you were eating 5 course meals, riding in Limos, living in your big house, and your family didn't have to worry about you .. Plus, remember your big business' that donate money to you like JP Morgan and Black Rock Inc (who owns over 15 million shares of JP Morgan if I am not wrong) from New York, that has help the largest county in your State of Alabama to go bankrupt and to have to lay off hundreds of people and public safety workers while giving you thousands of dollars.. (Plus why is a Senator from Alabama receiving from what I can find more than 50% of his business donations from out of our great State of Alabama anyway), and the social programs and your big business friends wouldn't even be here without the Veterans, todays Military, and their families.. We would all mostly likely be speaking Japanese or German.. This is why anyone that hasn't served his country and defended it with his life shouldn't be allowed to run for an Elected Office.. Because they only look out for themselves.. When is congress going to cut Their benefits and Their pay? Since your a leader, you should lead by example, but it wouldn't matter with the millions you have in your re election fund... I know speaking out against a Senator is very dangerous and you could cause me to lose my benefits completely, but it was also very dangerous to volunteer for our GREAT MILITARY at a time of war... something you would know nothing about at all....... Just a thought, when a senator first joins congress he should receive Privates pay.. and have to earn his why up the ladder... and that $15 million in your re election fund.. times 2 senators per state is 100 times 15 million.. should go to the national deficit.. but it will never happen because the people have lost control of the country and congress getting to vote on their own laws and pay raises...Its just a joke...

Hello, Bill, I've been living outside the U.S. since W was elected, so I've only recently come to know you, and mostly thru Youtube videos. I have been impressed not only by your political ideas but by your open and honest rejection of religion. I truly admire you for unapologetically proclaiming your atheism. That is why I was/am dumbfounded to hear you so staunchly support Israel. WHY???? That is completely and profoundly antithetical to the rest of your ideology. I think there's something going on in your subconscious there. Yes, I think that the fact that the U.S. stook by while Hitler decimated the Jewish population of Europe was criminal, but remedying that crime should never have been compensated by giving someone else's country to them. What is the basis of the belief that the Jews had a right to take over Palestine? That same bookful of lies and fairy tales that you rail against most of the time. Please, step back and try to be as objective on this issue as you are on most.
